PRIVATE LIMITED EDITION
We can offer a special service to authors who may wish to see their manuscript produced in book form as a Private Limited Edition. We can print from ten copies to as many copies as may be required for personal distribution, at a cost far less than for full publication.
The copies would be typeset in the usual manner and produced to a high standard of workmanship by a modern technical process, and can either be bound in cloth with a printed dust jacket or as a paperback.
Under this arrangement we would not be responsible for sales or distribution.
The manuscript should preferably be typed and double-spaced, although it would be acceptable if clearly written by hand. You are advised to check your manuscript carefully to avoid any errors. We are able to accept work sent on hard copy, on computer disk, on memory stick or as an email attachment. The manuscript should be saved as one file.
During production we will send a paged proof copy for you to check to ensure that it is to your full satisfaction before we proceed with the printing.
Should this suggestion be of interest to you, we will be glad to let you have a quotation if you would kindly forward your manuscript to us, if not previously submitted, and also let us know the number of copies required.
Payment may be made in three instalments; one third on placing your book in our production schedule, one third when the proof is returned after your approval, and the balance when the copies have been printed and are ready to be bound. Alternatively, payments may be made over a six-month period at no extra cost, although production will proceed as and when payments are received.
